Night Vision 04:02
Night Vision Beats are waiting, All we need Now, is time, the feeling. Of salvation, mind’s a station These times, these times. Lie awake, human broadsheet Songs yet to be, dance freely. Take me over, Help me find the way. You bring the sweetest death tonight You bring the sweetest death tonight Seeds can spread like, poison through my Mind, so I take care of my kind. Manic in the key of positivity, It’s how you use it. Fruits of night time, I can feel the lead line She ebbs, flows, swells, eddies. Fruits of night time, I can feel the bass line, Deepest water, pull me under. Take me over, Help me find the way. You bring the sweetest death tonight You bring the sweetest death tonight Tonight, tonight

Winter Socks 03:52
Winter Socks I put on my winter socks, & take you for a run, Your voice is like, a silent storm, The music stands up next to Joni Mitchell on my playlist, You’re with me every twist and turn. Twist and turn. We slip and slide, through the wild, London is the countryside, in lost forgotten places, Mud, knows no airs and graces. I need you like the morning needs the sun, Like the birds need sloes when winter comes. I feel you close , everywhere I go Close , everywhere I go I pull up, my winter socks folding forwards, I can see a world amongst the grass, A fading clovers final gasp, Like disco lights, the lifting dew, I’d share this whole wide world with you, Coz… I need you like a child needs to run, Like a junky needs to feel the pain before the flow, Like the winter needs the snow. I feel you close , everywhere I go Close , everywhere I go Close, oooooooo

Wild Swimming Let's go, wild swimming again, I love the feeling of fear, Being deep in your sphere. Let’s go, play in the park, Coz sometimes I jump the fence after dark And sit on a branch, that lies in the mind, Invisible to all human unkind. And we sing softly to the stars, and all the in between. There is an order to it all although it sometimes seems obscene. I think it knows your heart although it lives upon a spear. This landscape is so changeable, and the weather knows only love and fear. Let’s cross, the desert at night, I see no reason to make up this fight. I don’t need distraction, to live under traction, my life is my own. Let’s go wild swimming again, I love the feeling of fear, ice cold kisses on skin. Coz some call it summer, and some call it rain, I live with whats here, til I see you again. And we sing softly to the stars, and all the in between. There is an order to it all although it sometimes seems obscene. I think it knows your heart although it lives upon a spear. This landscape is so changeable, and the weather knows only love and fear. Love, Love, and fear. Let’s go wild swimming again.

Snowflake 02:54
Snowflake Snowflake, Snowflake, how can it be? So beautiful, So unique You fight that corner just to speak Coz sometimes, you get lost in the drift, get my drift? Snowflake well I think your not for me I love you like a brother But it’s cold, and it’s hard, and Im raging like the sea. Snowflake, how can it be? Your like a god in face and mind, but you feel like another's to me We built separate cages, coz our hearts they heal in stages And my heat is too much for your perfect symmetry Delicate, gifted, what a temperament I mean it as a compliment I try to say it but it wont come out We cant even agree on what a song’s about I tried to write a love song for u, but this is what came out. And it’s a love song, in its own way.

Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Sunlight bursts through the canopy Plays like a visual symphony Steady as she blows steady as she blows, woe oh Feels like yesterday, lying by your side, when the days grow long, I travel back in my mind, To a sunny day by a Willow tree, atmosphere drips with, Lemon light playing off blossom, that’s floating on the breeze, You pull me close, i worry but, natures got a plan for you and me. Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Sunlight bursts through the canopy Plays like a visual symphony Steady as she blows steady as she blows, woe oh Willow strokes the ground where she lies, watches caresses, Sways her fine tresses, strong is the body that bends with the wind, Mighty the lover who journeys within, When we flow like the river, we rage like the sea, mossy banks an infinity, Strength in vulnerability, When skin meets the sky, the boundaries die. Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Sunlight bursts through the canopy Plays like a visual symphony Steady as she blows steady as she blows, woe oh, woe oh oh, Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow woe oh, woe oh, woe oh, oh Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow Willow woe oh, woe oh, oh Layers behind which we hide, fall away when we play outside Layers behind which we hide, fall away when we play out Layers behind which we hide, fall away when

Wild Service 02:49
Wild Service Passion, getting higher, more here, more fire. More loving, no fighting, compassion, they’re frightened. Not money, where you live, when you leave you can’t take it with. Not brand, or fast cars, or ways to live on Mars. It’s getting hotter, we’re getting higher, it’s getting brighter. We live in wild service, woe oh ho, We live in wild service. No slaves, no masters, don’t tell me they have the answers. Not fame, a silver screen, the steams rising on this old machine. It’s getting hotter, we’re getting higher, it’s getting brighter. We live in wild service, woe oh ho, We live in wild service. Woe oh ho, woe oh ho, woe oh ho, ho ho ho ho We all live in wild service Woe oh ho, woe oh ho, woe oh ho, woe oh ho, who who who, oooooo hoo ooo who who who who, who oooooo oooooooo Coz. Only the wild can hold us. Only the wild can hold us. Only the wild can hold us. Only the wild can hold us.

Goodies & Baddies Ooooooo ooooo I’m not playing goodies and baddies, I love that the world is an imperfect place. I’m not making people their stories, Look for the human, it’s not a race. I’m not playing goodies and baddies, I feel like the rules are stacked against, Any thing or view that is is not to your taste, And it makes this world a dangerous place. Shoot me down kindly, shoot me down again. Shoot me down softly, but I wont let you in. Im not playing goodies and baddies, Too proud to see my bullet proof vest. You can push and demand, play you games you can twist, But I wont eat these lies, Or wear your disguise, No I wont eat these lies, Or wear your disguise, I refuse to live a duplicitous life, Coz my word is my bond with the world. Shoot me down kindly, shoot me down again. Shoot me down softly, but I wont let you in. Shoot me down kindly, shoot me down again. Shoot me down softly, but I wont let you in. Ooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooo Ooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooo

The Tower 03:51
The Tower The tower has fallen, The ravens have all flown, We built it up brick by brick, On foundations unknown. You, called I threw down my hair, But you did not like that I lived up there. The tower has fallen, The one made of ivory, We built it up brick by brick, But it never felt the right fit to me. They lament the devastation, Of isolation and separation. So, don’t cry Where it’s wild and snowy, Trees grow sideways in the wind. Hold our wounds to the sky, Start again, find a whole new rhythm. Somewhere special in your mind, Pathways will unwind Hold our wounds to the sky We can learn to live and die and live and die. The tower has fallen, The ravens have all flown We built it up brick by brick, On foundations unknown The tower has fallen, The ravens have all flown We built up brick by brick, On foundations, Im sorry I’m a London girl, I built my walls, so high and tall So don’t cry. Where it’s wild and snowy, Trees grow sideways in the wind. Hold our wounds to the sky, Start again, find a whole new rhythm. Somewhere special in your mind, Pathways will unwind Hold our wounds to the sky We can learn to live and die and live and die.

about

Wild Service is a concept album, inspired by nature based mythologies & spirituality.

Each track relates to a different time within the wheel of the year, the idea being that the listener will eventually be invited to choose their point of entry and to follow the wheel around, with no set beginning or end.

Stacey, who sees electronic music as a form of modern day folk music, and storytelling, created many of the beats & sounds from recording experiments and field recordings.

The sound sets used, recording experiments, and the songs selected, bare relation to the time of year in the natural landscape, & related mythologies.

From urban mythologies to earth based spirituality. Stacey wanted to explore the use of mythology and story as a way to find emotional connection and understanding.
